Got just close enough past the police and Marine guard to snap this shot during the 2007 fleet week in New York City, I had to push my camera lens right up against the link fence to get this view.

Your intrepid photographer himself firing a LAWS (Light Anti-tank Weapon System) rocket. In this picture I’m wearing the old steel pot helmet and Viet-Nam era flak jacket.
